If you read this one, 'randomly,' Jez, could you advise why your net site, 'Paphos TV,' has been out of commission for so long. If this site,(where we presently both feature), has no connection with your programme, what is it and who runs it? Do not other expats make comment on your programme's performance on the net and is anyone at the Station interested in listeners' reactions? Many friends comment to us on the performance of RIK 2 Vs Omega Vs Paphos TV for news broadcasts and it would seem that Paphos TV comes a poor fourth!! Not being able to react to - and, certainly, not being interested in - listeners' comments obviously won't help change the situation. Regards, KJH.

This is the site of the New Capital Coast Site finish and open to the Public in August 2008 . It is run by Lion Resort of Cyprus they have started another one near the Harbour ready 2009 called Amphora

Lion Resorts is Building the second new Hotel in 2 years the first is Capital Coast finished 2008 and this is the old Sodap Factory where Lion Resorts are Building the Amphora Hotel it will be 5 Star with a Cinema and restaurants as well as apartments and Hotel rooms , should be open 2009 in the summer

This is the Site of the NEW Hotel run by Lion Resorts in Cyprus. It is to be called Amphora Resort and Spa which is due to open May 2009

Tonight as with other nights recently, there has been virtually no sound with your news broadcasts. Don't think that there was any apology, 'though I didn't watch the whole semi-silent 'movie!' As I am obviously the only person watching your programme & as this comment area seems to have no link with the programmers, there appears to be no point in further comments or, indeed, news broadcasts from Paphos. You may thus further save costs by dumping the whole caboodle, along with the news clips that are shown over & over, month after month. As a matter of interest, the night temp for 8/7 should be 21 oC. For tomorrow, others are forecasting the same reading - just trying to help. Respectfully Yours, KJH.

Ok. ok! So you don't want to give out accurate night temperatures to match your rival news stations forecasts. Why is Maria still being given temps of 28 degrees, which is around 5 degs too high? How come the daytime f/c is accurate +/- a couple of notches. Why not tell your listeners that rain is going to fall for a few weeks & there will be no water shortage after all?! Fact should be fact. Sorry to harp on the fact that the night temperatures given out by Maria and Jez are still woefully high - or are you forecasting inside temps? By just checking with Paphos weather, day & night temps are given which roughly tally with the other TV stations. Paphos TV night temps are just too high @ 23/24 degrees C. and 32 was obviously a mis-reading. 19 is max high at present, but generally readings are much less than that. Good to hear Maria's mike is now working loud & clear. Kind Regards, KJH.

We regularly watch your news at 20.30 hrs. It's good to get a cross check on Omega & RIK2. It has been noticed that Maria Shattaoula has had trouble with her mike for several days - no aplolgy - does anyone monitor? Does anyone apologise? Also, all three stations seldom agree on weather f/c, temps or humidity. Would think that someone is pulling Maria's leg re the night temps, rarely right. Tonight's f/c was a classic: 'Night f/c down to 32,' (??), we don't think so. Tomorrow may be nearer @ 26 oC. This is meant to be constructive & helpful.
